1. Introduction

As top university in China, Tsinghua university has made advances in the refinement of academic disciplines, faculty development and research. Tsinghua is now a comprehensive research university, with 21 schools and 59 departments.

Currently, Tsinghua University has established university-level student exchange agreements with more than 120 foreign universities worldwide. In order to facilitate the study of the exchanged students, Tsinghua has been offering more than 200 courses in English on both undergraduate and graduate levels. Foreign students who are willing to participate in the exchange program and study at Tsinghua may inquire the International Offices of their home universities for more information.

        2. Qualification of Applicants

(1) University-level Student Exchange Agreement(SEA) signed between home university and Tsinghua University

(2) At least one year study finished at home university

(3) Without nomination from their home university, students are not eligible to apply for the exchange program. 

(4) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign private ordinary passport. Individuals who were previously residents of Chinese Mainland, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region, or Taiwan Region must have renounced and deregistered their Chinese nationality and household registration, and provide certificates of cancellation of Chinese
